FAQ

ADVENTUREFEST FESTIVAL 06/08

Why did the location change and why is AdventureFest now a free one day event?

The leadership team felt a calling to the new location and format.  We wanted to disrupt the normal and mix things up to allow the Holy Spirit to work and get guys out of their comfort zone - after all we are the AdventureMen and this is AdventureFest!  It will surely be an adventure!  We wanted to make it more accessible to those guys who can’t make the entire weekend camping - and for those that want a similar camping experience as years past we have exclusive access to Boyers Pond Campground.

Will food be served at AdventureFest 06/08/24?

Yes - we will be providing meals for purchase at affordable rates, but feel free to bring your own and tailgate.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No, the event is free so just have them register.  Camping tickets are transferable.

Do I have to bring my printed registration to the event?

Yes, print the form out and bring it with you - it will save a considerable amount of time at registration.

What is the refund policy?

AdventureFest is free.  Camping is nonrefundable unless the event is canceled due to life threatening weather.

Can I bring my kids who are 13-17 years old?

NO - all attendees need to be 18 or older.

Can I bring some beer or weed?

NO BEERS OR WEED MAN. If you have a medical marijuana card you are required to follow state guidelines which do not allow you to smoke/consume in public.

Is my dog allowed?

Due to the liability and insurance requirements pets are not allowed.  Legit service dogs are allowed to accompany guests but must be leashed and under control at all times.  Proof of registration will be required.

Can I bring a gun?

We are unable to shoot guns on the property at this time.

CAMPING 06/07-09

It's under a mile as the crow flies, campers can walk or drive to the festival on Saturday.

If I'm camping, do we have to bring all of our own food?

Yes, you will need to bring all of your own food.  This allows you to eat surf and turf, or hotdogs if you need to do it on the cheap.  Plus, we don't have the refrigerator sizes to accommodate feeding this many men.

Do I need to bring all of my own camping gear?

You will need to bring all of your own gear - camping, fishing, biking, etc.

Do I need a fishing license if I want to fish?

There is a large pond at the campground and fishing is free.  But if you plan to fish outside of the campground you must follow all state guidelines and possess a PA Fishing License.

Should I bring firewood?

We will be selling generous $10 bundles, but you can bring your own.

I have a medical need for electricity, how do I reserve a site?

Email info@adventuremen.org to request electricity. Medical needs come first all others can make do.

Can I get a shower over the course of the weekend?

Yes, there are plenty of showers and toilets available.  The water is not potable so bring drinking water.

If we have a group and get a cabin, will we actually all fit in the cabin?

No, the cabins sleep approx 4-6 men depending on the size.  Guys will need to set up tents surrounding the cabin or nearby.
